Terms and Conditions

 

Opening

Tuesday November 5, 2019 as part of the World Mental Health Congress to be held at the Panamericano Hotel & Resort in the City of Buenos Aires.

 

Who can participate?

All those amateur or professional photographers who are linked to Mental Health, whether as professionals, workers, users or family members. Both individuals and groups of photographers resident in the country or abroad can present their work.

The inscription to the Contest is free and aims to stimulate creativity, promote independent artistic productions, expose aspects of social practices and traditions and promote the destigmatization of the problems related to mental health through the encounter and artistic exchange.

 

What images can be presented?

You can submit up to two images that respond to the title of the contest: "In community".

There are no limitations regarding the devices with which the image could have been taken with (analog, digital, pinhole, snapshot, etc.), the picture can be either color or black and white.

 

How to present the photographs?

Participants should send the images by e-mail to [email protected]. The format of the photograph must have a minimum resolution of 180 dpi and a size of no less than 2,000 pixels on its larger side. The file will have to be named as follows: Surname_Name_Titleofthephoto or GroupName_Titleofthephoto. Include the following data in the body of the e-mail: Author of the work, telephone, e-mail, titles of the images and device used for taking them.

Submissions will be accepted until October 4, 2019.

The sending of the photographs implies the acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions of the Contest. Images that do not comply with all the aforementioned parameters will be discarded.

The photographs must be original and unpublished. All contestants declare under their exclusive responsibility to have the exclusive property of the copyright of all the images and to have obtained the permission of any person or persons included in the image, or of their parents / guardians if children under 16 appear.

  • 1st prize: Purchase order for photography supplies
  • 2nd prize: Seminar of choice in Estudio Cristal or Follow-up of photography project by photographer Natacha Ebers
  • 3rd prize: Seminar of choice in Estudio Cristal OR Follow-up of photography project by photographer Natacha Ebers
  • 3 Honourable Mentions

 

Exposition

All works presented until October 4 will be part of the exhibition to be held between Tuesday 5 and Friday November 8, 2019 in the framework of the World Mental Health Congress at the Panamericano Hotel & Resort in the City of Buenos Aires. In said exhibition, the name of the author and title of the work will be mentioned, without this implying any compensation and / or financial compensation. Notwithstanding the authors retain their Intellectual Property Rights in accordance with Law No. 11,723 and amendments, they are responsible for compliance with the legal provisions on the law and the right to own image, being responsible for the dissemination, reproduction or edition of the work within the framework of this contest does not harm any right of third parties.
